Professor Cui Fuzhai, chief scientific consultant of Allgens Company and Tsinghua University, was selected as a highly cited scholar in the field of materials science.
Professor Cui Fuzhai, professor of Tsinghua University, doctoral supervisor, honorary director of the Institute of Regenerative Medicine Materials of Tsinghua University, chief scientific adviser of Allgens Medicine, and the first vice chairman of the Chinese Society of Biomaterials. In 2008, he won the second prize of national technological invention (the first winner); in 2011, he won the second prize of National Natural Science (the first winner). In 2007, he was elected Fellow by the American Academy of Medical Bioengineering (AIMBE). Main research interests: regenerative medical materials including collagen composites, biomineralization, orthopedic medical devices, nerve repair materials, etc. More than 400 SCI papers have been published so far. More than 40 domestic and foreign patents.
According to reports, Elsevier's list of highly cited scholars in China is based on the objective citation data of Scopus, the world's largest peer-reviewed academic paper index abstract database, and systematically analyzes the influence of Chinese researchers in the world. The most influential Chinese scholars in the world are presented to the academic community and the public. The list covers science, technology, medicine, social sciences, arts and humanities and other disciplines. In 2017, a total of 1793 domestic scholars were selected, of which 146 scholars in the field of materials science were selected.
